A venue has yet to be announced, but in recent seasons United have hosted FA Youth Cup games at Old Trafford, Altrincham Town FC, the club’s Carrington training base and at the Leigh Sports Village. They played all their home games in the competition last season at the Leigh Sports Village, a 12,000 capacity stadium which is home to rugby league club Leigh Leopards and Manchester United’s Women’s and Under 21s football clubs.

United reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup last season where they lost to Aston Villa at Villa Park on penalties. Villa went on to win the competition.

United are the most successful club in the FA Youth Cup having won it 11 times, most recently in the 2021-22 season.

Third round ties must be played before December 13.
