Peterborough United have launched their 2026-27 home kit, the first to include the controversial new club crest
Peterborough United have launched their new home strip for the 2026-27 season.
The launch was brought forward 12 hours after the shirt was leaked online. It’s the first shirt to be adorned with the club’s controversial new crest, a design that continues to attract plenty of criticism on social media.

The club blurb accompanying the launch is a masterclass in marketing speak. It reads: ‘The 2026/27 home kit campaign tells a story of new eras, new beginnings and new seasons as we enter the next chapter in the club’s history. Centred around the launch of our new crest and identity, the campaign reflects the connection between our proud heritage and the future we continue to build together.
‘This is a story about letting history inspire our future, about moving forward, but never forgetting our past. From club legends to the next generation of supporters, the campaign celebrates everyone who has proudly worn blue and white. Referencing iconic names from across the club’s history alongside current supporters and young fans, the campaign reinforces the idea that every generation has a role in shaping what comes next.
‘The new home kit and crest represent more than a new look for the 2026/27 season. They symbolise progress, ambition and identity while staying true to the traditions and values that define Peterborough United. The campaign tagline, “The New Era”, is an invitation for the next generation of players, supporters and staff to make their mark and continue building the club’s legacy.’
Many Posh fans believe the new club crest looks too much like Chelsea’s badge, and is too similar to the logo of car manufacturer Peugeot, but it’s here to stay across all club merchandise.
The shirt is presented in traditional Posh blue, featuring a standout crossover ribbed crew neck collar alongside official team branding and sponsorship.
The new home PUMA kit is available online at the poshonlinestore.com. Adult shirts are £55, shorts are £27 and socks £12, so £94 for a full replica kit. Junior prices are £42, £23 & £12 so £77 for the full kit. A full mini kit is £42. The 2025-26 adult home shirt was priced at £52.
A new away kit and a third strip will be launched later this summer.
