Peterborough United have confirmed the London Road End will continue to house home supporters
Peterborough United have announced the designated place for home fans will remain at the London Road End of the Weston Homes Stadium.
The club organised a consultation and two trial matches as some fans wanted the GH Display Stand at the other end of the stadium to become the main area for home supporters.

Posh chief executive Dawn Gore issued a club statement on Monday afternoon which read….
‘The level of engagement with the consultation was amongst the strongest we have ever seen at the club. So many LRE season ticket holders took the time to complete the survey, attend the two trial fixtures, and share honest feedback with us in person, by e-mail and on social media. We are grateful for every single response.
‘We focused on hearing from LRE season ticket holders because they were the supporters most affected by the proposed change. It was their seats, their routine, their matchday. It was right their voice played the leading role in this decision.
‘As you would expect the feedback showed a mixture of opinions across the fanbase. Many supporters liked the idea of moving the home end to the GH Display Stand and could see the potential benefits it would bring.
‘However, the majority of London Road End season ticket holders who took part in the consultation were not in favour of moving the home end to the GH Display Stand.
‘The London Road End holds deep importance for many supporters. It is where tradition and generations of memories for many Posh fans are rooted.
‘As a consequence, we have taken the decision that the London Road End will remain the home end.
‘There is a genuine case for change. However, when you ask supporters to help shape a decision, it is important that their views are both respected and reflected.
‘Looking ahead, our plan is to open the GH Display Stand to home supporters as often as is possible across the 2026/27 season. Where home demand allows, the GH Display Stand will be open for Posh fans. Where it does not, the stand will continue to be used for games with the biggest away followings.
‘We will continue to listen to you, the supporters, as we continually strive to improve your matchday experience.’
The London Road End is a safe standing area.
The GH Display stand holds more fans in a bigger, more comfortable fashion.
Posh enabled away fans to use the London Road End for games towards the end of last season against Burton Albion and Port Vale.
