Marriott has made his decision more difficult with his double against Salford. He also has Kwame Poku to choose from again, with a system change surely required to get Marriott and Jonson Clarke-Harris into the side.
The PT has assumed that Clarke-Harris will declare himself fit but it appears as if Jack Taylor and Nathan Thompson will still miss out.
9. EPHRON MASON-CLARK
He's just in sensational form His form is why I would resist making a change to accommodate two strikers. He will just not have the same impact in wide midfield or at wing-back. Photo: Joe Dent
10. KWAME POKU
Good to have Poku back and I think Posh are at their best with Mason-Clark and Poku on the field. The prospect of the two of them together has made me reluctantly put Jack Marriott back on the bench. Photo: Joe Dent
11. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
If he can shake off the illness that is going around the camp then there is no doubt the division's topscorer should come back in. He will have seen Joey Barton's comments about him and Aaron Collins and it exactly the kind of player who will use it as fuel to get an extra ten percent out of himself. Photo: Joe Dent
12. THE SUBSTITUTES
Unluckily for Marriott, it's back to the bench for him. Along with Will Blackmore, Josh Knight, Kell Watts, Joel Randall, Ricky-Jade Jones and David Ajiboye. Photo: David Lowndes
