Peterborough United face a hot reception from their old boys at Huddersfield Town, plus loan player update

The Peterborough United old boys at Huddersfield Town warmed up for the visit of a former club in splendid style on Saturday.

Joe Taylor and Bali Mumba both claimed assists as ‘The Terriers’ won 2-0 at a Plymouth Argyle side who had been top of the table at the start of the day. Another old boy Archie Collins has now become a regular in the starting line-up for the team third in League One ahead of a visit from Posh on Tuesday (October 20).

Former Posh winger Kyrell Lisbie scored for Millwall as they fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Lincoln in the Championship at the New Den, while another ex-Posh forward Ricky-Jade Jones was subbed on by German Bundesliga 2 side St Pauli in the 86th minute before being subbed off eight minutes later after a hefty challenge in 1-1 draw at Hannover.

Kabongo Tshimanga made no impression in his time at Posh, but he can’t stop scoring for League Two high fliers Barnet. Tshimanga is the joint top scorer in the division with seven goals after netting both in a 2-1 win at Tranmere Rovers, including a winning penalty kick three minutes from time.

On-loan Posh defender George Nevett played 90 minutes for Tranmere, while on-loan Posh striker David Kamara played the final 15 minutes for the home side.

On loan Posh forward Bradley Ihionvien saw a ‘goal’ disallowed in Colchester United’s 0-0 draw with Exeter City.

Pemi Aderoju, who is on loan from Posh at League Two’s bottom club Crawley Town, hasn’t appeared in the last two Reds matchday squads for as yet unexplained reasons.

Rotherham United are now next-to-bottom in League Two after a 2-0 defeat at Fleetwood Town. Klaidi Lolos is on loan at ‘The Millers’ and made his debut for them as a second half substitute after recovering from injury.
