Last month Posh took to the field against Oxford United wearing club shirts specially printed with ‘Robson 11’ on the back as well as ‘Tommy Robson on the wing’ around the club badge.
After the match, the shirts were put up for auction and the final proceeds of these sales came to just under £4000.

Hide AdThis has been donated to the Tommy Robson Statue Fund, which was set up following the much-loved figure’s death at aged 76 on October 8. The aim is to raise close to £100,000 to have a bronze statue of the club’s all-time record appearance maker outside of the Weston Homes Stadium.
A large number of fans gathered outside of the stadium last month, to give Tommy a final send off as his funeral procession passed the ground on the way to the city’s crematorium.
The money has been added to a GoFundMe page set up by the club and the Statue Fund has already been supported by a variety of companies, including Posh sponsors Princebuild.
