Peterborough United claim Mark O’Hara has rejected Motherwell contract offer, but player responds ‘that’s news to me!’

Posh have agreed a £50k fee with Motherwell for the 24 year-old, but for the moment he is back at London Road.

Fry told the Peterborough Telegraph: “Mark did well at Motherwell and I have done a deal with the club. Mark was offered a three-year deal, but Motherwell have told me his agent turned it down.

“It’s staggering really. Three years is great security for a player in these unpredictable times and Motherwell have qualified for Europe next season.”

O’Hara moved to Posh from Dundee in July, 2018 and scored four goals in 29 appearances.

He scored twice in 20 appearances for Motherwell.
