Peterborough United boss insists there is much more to Harry's game than goal-scoring
Peterborough United manager Luke Williams insists there is much more to Harry Leonard’s game than goal-scoring.
Williams and centre forward Leonard have been nominated for League One monthly awards for December. The winners will be confirmed on Friday morning.

Leonard moved to Posh from Blackburn Rovers for a reported £800k in the summer transfer window. He has scored all nine of his Posh goals since Williams became manager at the end of October.
Williams said: “You can’t win games of football without goalscorers, but we have to talk about Harry’s workrate as well. There are reasons why he is so popular in the camp as well as with the fanbase.
"Harry closes opponents down, he goes in for every challenge, he takes kicks in order to win possession for his team and to take the pressure off other players, and he is brave enough to take the ball under pressure. He also has the courage to get in position to take his scoring chances. He’s exactly the same in training every day.
"I’d love him to win the award as Harry’s personality shines through on the pitch. He just wants to contribute to the team and he will do whatever it takes. I hope he continues to apply himself every day to become a fans’ favourite with a fantastic future.
"As far my own nomination, the award is badly named as the idea I could do everything on my own is actually hilarious. It should be renamed ‘The Management Team of the Month,’ and if I did win it would be dedicated to the people who help me and the players a tremendous amount every single day.
"These aren’t people who would be picked out by Sky TV cameras during a match, but they make a big difference to how I do may job because of the hours they put in.”
