New signing will get Peterborough United fans out of their seats
Peterborough United have signed an ‘exciting player with loads of skill and trickery,’ according to a man who has followed his career closely at Colchester United.
It’s the view of Colchester Gazette sports writer Jonathan Waldron who travels the country watching the League Two club.

Waldron said: “Owura is a really exciting player to watch, with loads of skill and trickery. He loves taking on his man and delivering crosses and is also capable of scoring spectacular goals, like the one he netted at Bristol Rovers last season.
"He’s the kind of player who will get Posh fans off their seats and now has plenty of EFL experience under his belt, so he will be looking to push on playing his football at a higher level.”

Edwards follows in the footsteps of Frankie Kent, Kwame Poku and Bradley Ihionvien in making the direct move from Colchester to Posh in recent seasons.
He believes he has joined a perfect club for a player with his skillset. He’s also relishing the chance to work with Posh boss Luke Williams again. They were together at Bristol City early in Edwards’ career.
"I describe myself as a game winner,” Owura told the Posh Plus service. “I like to go one-on-one, but I also work hard off the ball for the team and give everything in every game.
"Peterborough have produced a lot of great wingers and their style of play and the type of club they are suits me down to the ground.
"I know the manager as well. I love his energy and his enthusiasm as well as his winning mindset. He’s passionate about football and that’s how I would describe myself as a player as well.
“I really enjoyed my time at Colchester. I would have to have played a bit more last season, but it was a good season for us and we threatened to make the play-offs for a while.
"But when I heard about the chance to move to Peterborough from my agent it was a no brainer for me. I’m ready to start a new chapter and I‘m buzzing the deal was done in time for me to start pre-season.”
Posh travel to Colchester for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, July 21 (7.45pm kick off).
