All five away matches in the Championship have been lost this season and 16 goals have been conceded so a back to basics approach is needed at the Riverside.
Chairman Darragh MacAnthony dropped a heavy hint recently that Posh would revert to a three-man central defence and I happen to agree.
Striker Jonson Clarke-Harris is suspended, while Ricky-Jade Jones, Joel Randall and Jack Marriott are all injured.
Here’s my team in a 3-4-1-2 formation.

5. NATHAN THOMPSON
Thompson obviously has to play and why not as a right wing-back? Sure the role will test his fitness as the demands to get up and down the pitch constantly are great, but he has attacked this season with as much vigour and energy as Joe Ward has shown, certainly in away games. I'd even be tempted to play Idris Kanu ahead of Ward as he was impressively lively in his short Championship debut last time out, albeit without an end product.

6. DAN BUTLER
I'm having my best defenders as wing-backs so it's Butler ahead of Harrison Burrows on the left. A clean sheet is vital. A 0-0 draw should be seen as a small step in the right direction as much as a disappointment.

7. OLIVER NORBURN
I'm pretty sure the summer plan for the centre of midfield was to pair old Irish Under 21 teammates Conor Coventry and Jack Taylor, but the surprise arrival of Norburn has wrecked that idea for a number of reasons, the main one being he's played consistently better than either of them. He's been good on the ball and he can win it in the first place.

8. JACK TAYLOR
Injuries haven't helped of course, but the club's best midfielder from last season has made a disappointing impact in the Championship. It's time for him to show his undoubted quality. He should be encouraged to shoot at goal from distance for a start. His height is handy for set-pieces at both ends.
