Three League One defeats in a row against bottom half teams should prompt changes to take on a relegation-haunted side also in poor form.
The PT has picked a team assuming all the hobbling players at Wycombe and a couple of star-name absentees have recovered from their knocks and injuries.
It’s back to the 4-2-1-3 formation….

5. RONNIE EDWARDS
I hope that nasty late tackle at Wycombe hasn't caused any lasting damage as Posh would be a much poorer team without him at left centre-back. Photo: Joe Dent

6. HECTOR KYPRIANOU
If Posh had been in better form results-wise I'd be happy to give the classy midfielder a rest for this game, especially as he remains one yellow card away from a two-match suspension. But we can't take any selection chances in what is now a must-win game so the best players must start in the hope they regain their best form. Photo: Joe Dent

7. ARCHIE COLLINS
Jeando Fuchs must be getting close to a start, but his availability is not certain on Tuesday. I couldn't justify him replacing Collins or Kyprianou just yet anyway, until the latter's inevitable suspension. Photo: Joe Dent

8. RYAN DE HAVILLAND
There is little point in decent 45-minute cameos if it never leads to anything so De Havilland should be given a shot at the number 10 role ahead of Joel Randall after his second-half stint at Adams Park, although it must be tempting to get the 'fab four' attackers on the pitch together again. Randall has generally been good this season, but he has to improve recent final ball and finishing levels. Photo: Joe Dent
