It's a tricky selection balancing act for Peterborough United boss ahead of Trophy tie

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson will have to perform a tricky balancing act when selecting his team to play Stevenage in an EFL Trophy tie at the Weston Homes Stadium on Tuesday (7pm kick off).

A win would probably send Trophy holders Posh through to the knockout stages, but Ferguson is also trying to nurse a depleted squad through a tough run of League One matches. Unlike Stevenage, Posh have a League One match on Saturday as Rotherham United are in town.

Here’s the team the PT would pick in the usual 4-2-1-3 formation.
