There were also two excellent finishes and heaps of good fortune and great goalkeeping as Posh won for the seventh time on the road this season.
There was a wide array of marks, but one very obvious man of the match.

2. JAMES DORNELLY
He's playing very steadily at right-back. This was another tough examination for him and he coped well. Some important interventions and won some key aerial duels. Didn't get the chance to go forward too often - 7. Photo: s
3. CARL JOHNSTON
Mansfield overloaded down the captain's side of the defence, but he was robust defensively. A very strong second-half display against some decent wide players - 7.5. Photo: DAVID LOWNDES
4. TOM LEES (left)
Another imperious display from the 35 year-old. Reads the games so well he makes defending look pretty easy - 8. Photo: Joe Dent
