Posh chairman Darragh Macanthony made the revelation during the latest edition of his ‘Hard Truth’ podcast today (January 13).

MacAnthony said: “I had a bit of back and forth with Gary over possible loans, but there’s no desperation on our part to buy players or let them go.

“In the summer we built a squad for the season and there’s certainly no room at the inn until we move players out.”

Posh attacking midfielder Serhat Tasdemir was linked with Salford and League Two rivals Southend United by the Peterborough Telegraph yesterday.

Tasdemir has not threatened to break into the Posh first team this season. He has made just one League One start since joing Posh from non-league Fylde 18 months ago.

League One clubs have made 16 signings so far in the Janjary transfer window (as at 11am, January 13). Swindon Town (3) have made the most signings.
