Clarke-Harris was also named the ‘Forever Posh player-of-the-year’ and the Posh players’ player of the year over the weekend to go with his EFL League One player-of-the-season prize.

Clarke-Harris was also named in the EFL League One team of the year alongside clubmates Mark Beevers and Joe Ward. The 26 year-old also won League One’s ‘Golden Boot prize’ for scoring the most goals in the division.

We asked followers of @PTAlanSwann on Twitter to nominate a 1,2,3 in order of preference.

We then awarded three points for the first nomination, two points for the second preference and a single point for a third place vote.

Clarke-Harris dominated the poll with defender Nathan Thompson second and Ward just pipping Jack Taylor and Frankie Kent for third place.

Former Posh star Gaby Zakuani (pictured) joined in the fun and sent his vote to Clarke-Harris ahead of Thompson and Ward. “But I could easily have flipped the top two around,’ Zakuani said.

Celebrity Posh fan Adrian Durham, the host of a popular afternoon show on TalkSPORT radio, went for Ward in first place followed by Kent and Clarke-Harris.

Thompson found a big fan in @clarkbatfan on Twitter who said: “He made a major contribution going forward as well as being superb at the back. He’s been magnificent.”

Also on Twitter @kelanlarson nominated Clarke-Harris as his player-of-the-year saying: “An unbelievable goal return, and he handled the pressure of replacing Ivan Toney superbly.”

Thompson collected the highest average mark from the PT match ratings just ahead of Kent, club captain Beevers and wing wizard Siriki Dembele.
