Who will join these Posh players in assuming hero status with a match-winning display at the Abbey Stadium on Saturday (noon kick off)?
Posh have won 13 and lost 11 of 33 Football League meetings with Cambridge. They’ve only won twice on enemy ground.

6. MICK HALSALL
Halsall opened the scoring in a 3-1 Posh win at the Abbey Stadium in Division Four in January, 1988. Noel Luke also scored and there was an own goal. Posh have not won an FL game at this venue since. Photo: Paul Marriott
7. TONY ADCOCK
Both teams were in the Division One - the second tier of English football - when they met at the Abbey Stadium in March 1993. Posh didn't win but they fought back from a 2-0 half-time deficit to draw 2-2 with two goals from Adcock, the second in the 88th minute after one of the clearest fouls you will ever see. 8. WORRELL STERLING
A month later Sterling scored the only goal of the re-match at London Road, a result that hastened the relegation of Cambridge and pushed Posh towards what remains their best finish in the Football League, 10th in the second tier. Photo: David Lowndes
