Posh were well organised at the back, efficient in midfield and lively in attack.

9.
SAMMIE SZMODICS: A very energetic, busy performance. Kept the Wigan defenders honest throughout. 7.
10.
SIRIKI DEMBELE: Flitted in and out of the game, but always carried a threat. Some delightful moments on the ball, but needs to take fewer risks in his own half 7
11.
JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS: Took his goal superbly and led the line willingly. His link-up play wasn't always accurate, but he's a real handful for centre-backs 7.

NIALL MASON: (for Butler 34 mins) An early tactical sub and he was excellent defensively apart from one late aberration. Blocked crosses, made key tackles and interceptions, while passing the ball well 7.5 Photo: Midlands
