ALAN SWANN’S player ratings from Peterborough United’s 1-0 defeat at Shrewsbury as Posh deliver their worst display of the season

Peterborough United delivered their worst attacking performance of the season as they slipped to a second successive away defeat at Shrewsbury last night (November 5).

Posh created nothing of note apart from a second-half penalty which Marcus Maddison missed.

A couple of good corners in the first-half was the sum total of his contribution. Saw a weak penalty saved early in the second-half and soon substituted after a couple more awful set-pieces.

Another game with very little service, but his passing and shooting were inaccurate also.

Baited mercilessly by the home crowd and didn't exactly answer back with his performance. Won Posh a penalty, but cautioned needlessly and will now serve a one-game ban.

Should have come on a lot a sooner than five minutes from time with Posh chasing the game. No time to make an impact.
