He'd have played regardless of the reshuffle caused by Beevers' injury. He will have to sit behind three dashing attacking midfielders/forwards in this team, but he should enjoy have three very mobile players in front of him.
Ward has been irresistible in two home Championship matches so I'm hoping he can maintain that form on the road. I don't see why he can't from a more attacking wide right position. If former Posh full-back Andrew Hughes is marking him Ward could be in business.
