Alan Swann’s London Road nightmares: ‘The worst Posh home displays I’ve ever seen’

Peterborough United were so poor in defeat against Chorley in the second round of the FA Cup on Saturday (November 28), it’s gone straight into the top 10, or maybe bottom 10, list of worst Posh performances I’ve ever seen at London Road.

Here are those Posh home nightmares in reverse order of awfulness...

10) Posh 1, Charlton 5, League One, 2010: Gary Johnson’s Posh were 4-0 down in 38 minutes on centre-back Lewin Nyatanga’s debut for the club. He played alongside Kelvin Langmead. Lee Tomlin is pictured during that game. Grant McCann scored the consolation goal for a Posh team that won promotion that season, after a change of manager.
