Aderoju strikes again, Randall saves the day, defiance from McCann and a new club for Bilokapic
Peterborough United striker Pemi Aderoju scored the second goal of his loan spell at Crawley with a lovely volley after coming on as a second-half substitute at Accrington. Crawley lost 3-2.
Of the other Posh players currently out on loan, forward David Kamara made his debut for Tranmere as a second half substitute in a 2-0 home win over Oldham. Centre-back George Nevett was an unused Tranmere sub.

Klaidi Lolos didn’t make Rotherham’s squad for a 1-0 loss at Bristol Rovers.
Striker Brad Ihionvien was a second-half sub for Colchester as they went down 3-1 at Swindon.
OLD BOYS
Jimmy-Jay Morgan scored his third Championship goal of the season as West Bromwich Albion beat Watford 1-0 at The Hawthorns.
Joel Randall scored with a close-range header in added time on his debut for Chesterfield in a 3-3 League Two draw at home to Barnet. Randall had only come on as an 86th minute substitute following his loan move from Bolton Wanderers. Kabongo Tshimanga looked to have won the game for ‘The Bees’ with an 88th minute goal against another former club.
Grant McCann issued a defiant statement on X on Saturday night after the poor start for his Doncaster Rovers side in League One continued with a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Plymouth Argyle.
Manager McCann said: “We know the start hasn’t been what any of us wanted, but doubt us all you want. This group will respond. Nothing is won or lost in September we know that. We keep working, we keep fighting, and we keep moving forward.”
Doncaster have yet to win in League One. They visit Posh on September 19.
Goalkeeper Nick Bilokapic has signed a one-year deal at Championship club Derby County after leaving Ipswich Town. The Aussie was not involved in Derbys’ 3-0 loss at West Ham United yesterday.
