Left-back Dan Butler should be back following a calf injury for the home game against Ipswich Town on Saturday, December 19.

Striker Ricky-Jade Jones should be back following surgery on his leg for the Boxing Day trip to Gillingham.

Forward Joe Ward should be back following a knee injury for the home game with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday, December 29.

Posh host West Ham United Under 21s in a second round Papa John’s Trophy tie tomorrow (December 8, 7pm).

They then face League One fixtures against Rochdale (home, December 12) and MK Dons (away, December 15).
