Apart from the opening quarter of the game it wasn’t a particularly fluent performance, but given the circumstances of a first game in 25 days and playing with 10 men for 25 minutes it was a satisfactory outcome.
RATINGS KEY: 10- Perfect, 9-Oustanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very Poor, 3-Dreadful
5.
IDRIS KANU: Some athletic bursts forward were spoilt by indecision as to what to do when reaching the opposition penalty area. Pace helps him recover his position defensively 6.5
6.
JACK TAYLOR: An immaculate midfield display full of strong tackling, excellent covering and some fine forward passes. 8.
7.
HARRISON BURROWS: The left wing-back didn't appear to relish the physical nature of the game. His crossing was poor and his defending was indifferent 5.5.
8.
REECE BROWN: Started the game well, but as soon as he was put under pressure his accuracy deserted him or he was caught in possession. He didn't see the forward pass quickly enough, or it could be the movement ahead him was non-existant 5.
