In particular 17 year-old Ronnie Edwards excelled alongside two strong displays from his fellow centre-backs Frankie Kent and Mark Beevers.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Perfect, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Very Poor.
9.
SIRIKI DEMBELE: He's enduring a poor run of form and it's obvious the manager is losing patience with him. Caused more problems for Posh than MK by losing the ball constantly. Strangely Posh missed him when he went off as they couldn't get out 5.
10.
FLYNN CLARKE: It was a struggle all night for the teenager who was betrayed by the Posh tactics of deep defending. No surprise when he went off 5.
11.
JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS: Took his headed goal well, but little service and when it did arrive he couldn't hold the ball up effectively 6.
12.
SAMMIE SZMODICS: (for Clarke, 59 mins) Worked hard, but no link-up play with Posh under so much pressure 5.5
