Peterborough Sports face their biggest test of a perfect pre-season, prestigious fixture for Spalding United
Peterborough Sports chase a hat-trick of friendly wins on Saturday.
The city side have despatched United Counties League sides Blackstones (3-0) and Sleaford (4-0) in pre-season so far, but step up a level tomorrow when travelling to Bourne Town. Ben Hart, Jack Keeble, Luca Miller and Harvey Williams scored the goals at Sleaford.
Spalding United have a prestigious friendly at home to National League side Scunthorpe United tomorrow. Spalding boss Jimmy Dean is a former Scunny manager.
Stamford AFC should be back in action at home to AFC Rushden & Diamonds, while there is a local argument at Yaxley where Deeping Rangers are the visitors.
Selected Saturday friendlies: Blackstones v Netherton United, Bourne Town v Peterborough Sports, FC Peterborough v Downham Market, Spalding United v Scunthorpe United, Stamford AFC v AFC Rushden & Diamonds, Wisbech Town v Fakenham, Yaxley v Deeping Rangers.
