Paul has picked the ‘Franz Beckenbauer of the Peterborough League’ in his all-star team!

Paul Gauntlett was one the most feared strikers in the Peterborough Leagues for many seasons.

The prolific marksman played in the Premier Division for Thomas Cook, Perkins, Moulton Harrox & Eye between 1990-2003.

He also captained the successful Peter Pan side who dominated Peterborough Sunday Morning League football during the 1990s.

“I was also renowned for the mumber of penalties I won!” Paul stated.

Paul has selected his all-star Peterborough League side in a 3-5-2 formation using versatile and aggressive players.

His substitutes are Lee Davidson, Darren Bradley and Dean Tarrent.
