Every single Peterborough United player was below average
There wasn't a Peterborough United player worthy of an average mark in today's 4-0 home hammering at the hands of Barnsley (October 6).
Posh were ouclassed by slick-passing opposition as they slumped to a second defeat of the season.
RATINGS: 10 - Perfect, 9 - Outstanding, 8- Very good, 7 - Good. 6 - Average, 5 - Poor, 4 - stinker.
Aaron Chapman: Made one brilliant first-half save, but was left floundering by four accurate finishes. His distribution is not great 5.5
Jason Naismith: Battled away gamely for the most part, but he had no answer to the slick movement and passing of top-class opposition 5
Colin Daniel: Life has become a struggle for a whole-hearted left-back. Sacrificed early in the second-half for a change in shape 5
Rhys Bennett: Defended doggedly, but another to find the mobility of the opposition too hard to handle 5
Ryan Tafazolli: He won a few challenges which is more than most of his teammates managed 5.5
Alex Woodyard: Swamped by superior footballers. His usual tenacity was absent 5
Mark O’Hara: Dithered in his own area for the first Barnsley goal and looked cumbersome and heavy legged throughout 5
Marcus Maddison: Delivered a couple of testing free kicks in the first half, but conceded the free kick which gave Barnsley their second goal. Passed a late fitness test to play, but went off injured eventually 5
Joe Ward: Worked as hard as ever but often run off his feet and rarely found a teammate with a pass 5
Ivan Toney: Terrible day at the office although he kept battling to the end. Took a tame early penalty which could have given Posh the lead 5
Jamie Walker: Played in a position which should have suited him, but he laboured, hardly saw the ball and was taken off after just 25 minutes 4
Matt Godden: (for Walker, 25 mins) Tried hard, but missed a couple of decent scoring chances 5
Darren Lyon: (for Daniel, 55 mins) Way off the pace, caught in possession for the third goal 5
Louis Reed: (for Maddison, 66 mins). Made no impact, but a tough time to come on,
