Peterborough Town players called up by Cambs, cultural cricket day details, narrow defeat for county veterans
Peterborough Town stars Nick Green and Jaskaran Singh have been selected to play for Cambridgeshire in a NCCA Championship game against Buckinghamshire at Bretton Gate.
Green has been outstanding with bat and ball for Town, while pace bowler Singh, who will be making his Minor Counties debut, has enjoyed a decent first season at the club.

Cambs are without a win in three Championship matches so will look to Green and Singh to on their home turf to inspire a win against a team who have won two of their three matches.
The match starts at 11am on Sunday and continues through Monday and Tuesday.

CULTURAL DAY
On the Monday of the Cambs match, the county will be holding their first-ever ‘Cultural Celebration Day’ next month with the aim of increasing awareness of National Counties cricket and to inspire potential county players of the future.
As well as having the opportunity to watch players from the highest level of recreational cricket in action there will be two net sessions during the day, between 1pm and 4pm, which are open to all and will be watched by selectors from Cambridgeshire and their first-class neighbours Essex as well as the Peterborough Town club.
