Local cricket stunned by the passing of popular player kasim Ikhlaq
Kasim played for Orton Park CC as a junior while attending the Thomas Deacon Academy before representing leading local clubs Nassington, Ramsey and most recently Barnack.
Kasim was a crafty spin bowler and aggressive batsman. He passed away today (July 9).

Hide Ad“We are all shocked,” Barnack captain Mohammed Yaseen said. “Kasim was a very good player, but also a lovely guy. No-one would have a bad word to say about him. It’s a very sad day for Barnack CC in particular and for the local cricket community in general.”
