Peterborough Town’s Mohammed Danyaal was the star as Hunts beat Northants Academy by 11 runs at Ramsey in the second of a three-match series today (August 18).

Danyaal struck 64 and then claimed 3-18 as Hunts defended 182. Captain Bashrat Hussain took 3-44. Hunts lead the series 2-0.

Cambs/Hunts Over 60s were frustrated by heavy rain after racing to 178-1 off just 28 overs against Norfolk at Market Deeping. Nigel Gadsby (75no) and Nick Andrews (72) both scored well.

In club cricket Raghavendran Suryanarayanan smacked a rapid 116 not out as Adidda beat Burghley Park seconds by 17 runs in a rain-affected Hunts Division Two North match. Adidda piled up 209-3 in just 30 overs.
