COUNTY OVER 50s: Hunts go down in Geddington

Hunts were beaten by 42 runs by Northants at Geddington in the National Over 50s competition (July 13).

Kevin Sequenza’s 4-19 from five overs was the best effort by a Hunts bowlers as the home side totalled 177-8 in their 45 overs.

But only Gary Scotcher (36) made much of an impression with the bat as Hunts were dismissed for 135.

Hunts have two games left in the competition, starting with a trip to Skegness to play Lincs next Wednesday (July 20).
