-(1).jpeg?trim=0,0,0,0&crop=&width=640&quality=70&enable=upscale)

We’re thrilled to reveal the finalists for this year’s Peterborough’s Apprenticeship Awards – a celebration of the outstanding individuals, training providers, and businesses shaping the region’s thriving apprenticeship community.
This year’s awards feature 14 categories, recognising both the achievements of apprentices and the vital role played by employers and training providers in developing future talent – a true showcase of the region’s apprenticeship success stories.
This event would not be possible without the support of our sponsors, who continue to invest in and celebrate the achievements of apprentices across the region. We’re proud to share some of their thoughts and insights below, alongside a little more about the organisations supporting this year’s awards.
Clegg Construction has more than 90 years’ experience in the construction industry, delivering projects across a wide range of sectors. The company is committed to developing skilled teams and supporting the next generation of talent.
Baker Perkins, a technology brand of Coperion, provides innovative food processing solutions to manufacturers worldwide and has long-established apprenticeship and graduate programmes, helping to develop future talent across engineering, manufacturing and other areas.
The campaign has attracted a strong range of nominations from across Peterborough, with a particularly high standard of entries this year. Each submission was carefully assessed by our panel of judges against strict criteria to determine this year’s finalists and, ultimately, the winners. The rigorous judging process highlighted the impressive achievements, dedication and impact demonstrated by this year’s nominees.
Their expertise and dedication have been invaluable in selecting a group of finalists that truly represent the passion, talent, and ambition driving apprenticeships across the region.
We extend our sincere thanks to our judging panel: Nicola March, Employment and Skills Manager - CPCA Helen Dighton, Human Resources Manager - Paragraf Andrew Pakes, MP - Labour and Co-operative Member of Parliament for Peterborough Mr Christopher Walkinshaw DL, Deputy Lieutenant - Cambridgeshire Mark Brear, Director - EML Electrical
Winners will be announced at a live awards ceremony on Thursday, September 24 at Holiday Inn, Peterborough. Guests will arrive from 6:45pm for a welcome drink sponsored by the Holiday Inn, ahead of an evening of networking, dinner, and award presentations.
