Peterborough ice warning extended to weekend
A yellow weather warning for ice in Peterborough has been extended until the weekend.

The warning, which came into force at 5pm yesterday, had originally was due to end at midnight tonight. However, it is now in place until 11am tomorrow (Saturday), with temperatures set to stay low throughout today and tonight.
The Met Office warning says: "Icy stretches may lead to some difficult driving conditions.
"What to expect:
"Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
"Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths."
Anyone who has to make essential journeys is urged to take extra care.
