The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for fog and poor visibility covering Peterborough.

The warning said: “Fog is expected to persist and with increased traffic volumes on Monday morning some disruption to transport is possible.”

The Met Office said temperatures will start below freezing and will reach a maximum of 3C today (Monday, December 7) and the yellow alert covered the period between 4am and 11am.

There will be sunny spells which will help the fog clear during the morning.
