Water park open again after tests

Bretton Water Park has re-opened after an antibiotic resistant pathogen which can cause serious illnesses in humans was found to no longer be active in the water.

The bacterium Pseudomonas Aeruginosa had been discovered on Tuesday, June 21, but Peterborough City Council said the water park has re-opened today (Wednesday, June 29) as tests showed the bacterium had disappeared.
