Two lorry crash shuts A1 to A14 Spur between Alconbury and Huntingdon
A crash involving two lorries has closed the A1 to A14 Spur southbound at Alconbury this morning, Friday March 11.
This took place just after 8am. Police believe the driver of one of the lorries has suffered injuries but details are still coming in.
The road is closed at the link road between the A1 at Alconbury and Spittals.
Recovery is currently on scene.
There are also reports from eyewitnesses that a second shunt between another two HGVs has taken place in the queueing traffic.
Police report long delays in the surrounding area.
