Woman taken to hospital after incident which shut A47 in Peterborough
A woman has been taken to hospital following an incident which closed the A47 in Peterborough this afternoon.
A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said the nature of the woman’s injuries was still ‘unclear.’
The road had been shut in both directions between the Lincoln Road and Paston Parkway junctions for some time this afternoon, after emergency services, including the Magpas Air Ambulance were called to the scene following concerns for a woman’s welfare. The Magpas Air Ambulance landed in near-by Itter Park.
The road has now re-opened.
