Warning to motorists as roadworks lasting for five weeks begin on one of Peterborough's busiest roads

The works to improve the pedestrian crossing on Oundle Road near the junction with Sugar Way in Woodston, started today.
During the upgrade three-way temporary traffic lights will be in operation from Monday November 9 between 9.30am until 3.20pm (weekdays) for approximately five weeks.

Hide AdThe second phase of works, scheduled to start on Monday, November 23, will be to resurface the road, and this will be done under a two-day road closure from 8am until 4pm.
During the road closure a diversion route will be in place. Access to businesses and other premises within the closure area will be maintained during the works, but there may be short
delays. Traffic management gatekeepers will be positioned at the closure points to assist with access arrangements.
