Today Cross Country’s Regional Director, Richard Morris, said: “I am sorry Mayor Palmer feels we’ve let his community down. The stops at Manea and Whittlesea were temporarily withdrawn in April as part of a range of changes to our timetables to manage the impact of the Coronavirus. We have communicated this to local stakeholders and have been working hard to find a solution.

“We are aware of the problem that has arisen now schools are reopening and have been actively reviewing all options. Like the Mayor, we want to see our services resuming and are hopeful a solution can be found as we manage the effects of this pandemic.”
