From Monday, October 26, vehicles will be restricted from waiting outside New Road Primary School between 8.30am and 9.30am and between 2.45pm and 3.45pm, Monday to Friday.
The prohibited area will be from the northern side of New Road from a point 45m east of its junction with Bellmans Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 50m.
A yellow line will be in place to mark the restricted area.
The decision has been made by Cambridgeshire County Council and replaces an existing order which began in 1999.
