Resident concern at growing 'horrific' late night car noises in Yaxley
Residents in Yaxley have raised concerns about growing issues with noises from cars late at night.
Some residents have described the noise caused by drivers as ‘horrific,’ complaining that they regularly have to endure racing/drifting late at night.
One resident told the Peterborough Telegraph that the noise lasted late into the night on regular occasions with sounds of squealing brakes and loud revving engines “blighting the lives of people in the area.”
The worst affected areas are believed to be industrial estates such as the Eagle Business Park as well as the Enterprise Business Park.

Cambridgeshire Police and Peterborough City Council have also had to respond to issues in recent years at Pleasure Fair Meadow car park on Oundle Road as well as in the Ortons.
The force has confirmed that it has received five calls reporting anti-social driving close to Eagle Business Park in Yaxley since 14 February.
The Peterborough Telegraph has contacted North West Cambridgeshire MP Sam Carling for comment.
