Oil spill causes Peterborough traffic delays
An oil spill on a Peterborough road is causing long traffic delays.
The spill in Westlake Avenue, Hampton, was reported today. A Peterborough City Council spokesman said: “There is an ongoing incident in Westlake Ave regarding an oil spillage. Council are on site now working through the situation and beginning a clear up process. Unfortunately, there will be considerable traffic delay in this location, and we ask residents please to be patient and understanding whilst the issue is contained. We will update further later today”
