Lorry overturns on Norman Cross Roundabout near A1

There were long delays on a busy junction for the A1 after a lorry overturned on a roundabout.

Emergency services were called earlier today following the incident on the Norman Cross roundabout.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries reported.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at about 11.45am today (9 January) with reports of a lorry on its side on the A1, Norman Cross.

“Officers are currently at the scene and there have been no reports of serious injuries or arrests at this time.

“The road is closed while recovery of the lorry takes place.”
