Most other routes on the Thameslink network are being impacted by this problem, with disruption expected to last for most of the day.

If you must travel today then your journey will take a lot longer, and you will need to use a different route to get around this problem. Ticket restrictions have been lifted for standard class ticket holders, advance tickets can be used for travel on any train.
