Delays expected between Peterborough and Whittlesey due to King’s Dyke roadworks

Motorists are being warned to expect delays due to roadworks around King’s Dyke.

Gas supply company Cadent is carrying out “scanning of the gas main” from today (Wednesday) until Friday, with traffic control said to include “stop/go boards”.

The works are due to take place just past the level crossing as you head towards Whittlesey.

Moreover, Cambridgeshire County Council has said it is carrying out works on the A605 - a short distance further up the road into Whittlesey - on the Saturday and Sunday.

This will include temporary traffic lights.
