B1040 to close for resurfacing works
Part of the B1040 is to be closed for resurfacing works as part of a scheme to repair droughts damaged roads across Cambridgeshire.
Repairs will begin on the B1040 Ramsey Road, Pondersbridge, on Thursday (April 15) with a 24/7 closure in place until an expected completion date of May 26.
The works will involve a mixture of full depth reconstruction and resurfacing of the asphalt layers from Pondersbridge heading north.
General maintenance work will also be carried out at the same time with vegetation clearance, cleaning of the drains and installation of new signs and road markings.
A signed diversion will be in place for the duration of the closure. Some work may also be carried out at weekends and access to properties will be maintained.
