The A47 was said to have been “blocked” near Peterborough.
Cambridgeshire’s Highways Service said an “obstruction” was preventing traffic from travelling westbound at Ring’s End in Guyhirn.
Police were at the scene and recovery has now taken place with the road fully re-opening.
