A1M and A14 overnight road closures announced

The four week closures are to allow for “bulk lamp changes, carriageway resurfacing, safety fence repair and routine maintenance works,” Highways England has announced.

The works will be weekdays from 8pm to 6am, starting on or after Monday, May 1, with diversions put in place.

The following closures will take place:

A14

• southbound carriageway from the A1(M) at J14

• northbound entry slip road from Rusts Lane

A1M

• northbound exit and entry slip roads at J15

• southbound exit and entry slip roads at J15

• northbound exit and entry slip roads at J16

• southbound entry slip road at J16

• southbound exit slip road at J16

• northbound exit slip road at J17

• southbound entry slip road at J17.

Further road closures have also been revealed by Peterborough City Council:

• Bridgehill Road, Newborough, between Bainton Road and A15 Paston Parkway on Monday, April 27 between 9am and 4pm

• Meadow Road, Peakirk, between Glinton Road and A15 Paston Parkway on Tuesday, April 28 between 9am and 4pm

• Milking Nook Road, Newborough, between Werrington Bridge Road and B1443 Thorney Road on Wednesday, April 29 between 9am and 4pm

• Willow Hall Lane, Thorney, between the A47 and Pearces Road between Thursday, April 30 and May 1

• Willow Hall Lane between the A47 and Pearces Road from Friday, April 24 until Wednesday, April 29 for works by Anglian Water.
