A16 closed between Peterborough and Crowland after serious road collision
The A16 was closed between Peterborough and Crowland following a serious road collision.
Police were telling motorists to find an alternative route but did not give any further information.
The Peterborough Telegraph understands the collision was between an HGV and pedestrian but has contacted police for more information.
The road was closed before 10pm last night (Wednesday) and re-opened at around 5.45am.
The A16 was the scene of a fatal four vehicle collision last Friday which led to a man from Spalding dying.
Another man from Spalding was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs. He has since been released under investigation.
