UPDATE: Traffic gridlock in Fletton after collision causes Frank Perkins Parkway to close
Traffic has been gridlocked into the city centre from Fletton after an accident on the Frank Perkins Parkway.
A HGV and a car collided at 6.08am this morning (Friday, December 8), causing the parkway to close between Stanground and Boongate, although one lane is now open.
Police said there were no serious injuries and recovery is now underway.
